The control unit is designed to control the MCO-Type Flash Butt Welding Machine, which has a thyristor contactor, a frequency converter of the motor of the flash welding drive, and pneumatic DC valves.
The control unit allows to:
- control the sequence of actions of the mechanisms of the machine in accordance with the machine operation cyclogram,
- weld in the FLASH WELDING and HEATING + FLASH WELDING modes
- store 10 welding modes in its memory,
- set the welding mode parameters digitally from the operator’s panel:
The functional capabilities of the Control Unit are:
- processing of level 24V input discrete signals - up to 14 pcs.,
- processing of 24V level input signals of limit switches - up to 3 pcs.,
- 24V level relay outputs - up to 8 pcs.,
- analog output 0 - 10V for controlling the frequency converter of the motor of the flash welding drive.
